Duties
  1. Registration of healthcare service personnel (medical and nursing staff).
  2. Annual procurement and implementation of on-site occupational physician services (once every two months).
  3. Conducting health examinations for current personnel, including all faculty and workers.
  4. Conducting pre-employment health examinations for new employees.
  5. Conducting special health examinations (once per year).
  6. Analysis, evaluation, preservation, and management of workers’ physical and health examination records.
  7. Health management and follow-up tracking of health examination records.
  8. Improvement and follow-up of deficiencies in health promotion identified by inspections from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
  9. Establishment of employee grievance channels.
  10. Handling ergonomics-related hazard prevention.
  11. Handling musculoskeletal disorder prevention measures.
  12. Handling overwork prevention measures.
  13. Handling maternal protection measures for female workers.
  14. Planning and implementation of health education, health promotion, and hygiene guidance for workers.
  15. Prevention and management of work-related injuries and diseases, health consultation, first aid, and emergency response.
  16. Assisting employers in assigning suitable work to employees.
  17. Handling return-to-work management.
  18. Preparation of occupational health research reports and maintenance of injury and disease records.
  19. Assisting employers and occupational safety personnel in implementing work-related disease prevention and improving the work environment.
  20. Identification and assessment of workplace environmental and operational hazards.
  21. Providing recommendations for improving occupational safety and health facilities.
  22. Investigating the relationship between workers’ health conditions and their tasks, conducting health risk assessments for high-risk workers, and implementing necessary preventive and health promotion measures.
  23. Providing functional evaluations and recommendations for job redesign or adjustment for returning workers.
  24. Other duties designated and announced by the central competent authority.
