| Duties |
- Registration of healthcare service personnel (medical and nursing staff).
- Annual procurement and implementation of on-site occupational physician services (once every two months).
- Conducting health examinations for current personnel, including all faculty and workers.
- Conducting pre-employment health examinations for new employees.
- Conducting special health examinations (once per year).
- Analysis, evaluation, preservation, and management of workers’ physical and health examination records.
- Health management and follow-up tracking of health examination records.
- Improvement and follow-up of deficiencies in health promotion identified by inspections from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
- Establishment of employee grievance channels.
- Handling ergonomics-related hazard prevention.
- Handling musculoskeletal disorder prevention measures.
- Handling overwork prevention measures.
- Handling maternal protection measures for female workers.
- Planning and implementation of health education, health promotion, and hygiene guidance for workers.
- Prevention and management of work-related injuries and diseases, health consultation, first aid, and emergency response.
- Assisting employers in assigning suitable work to employees.
- Handling return-to-work management.
- Preparation of occupational health research reports and maintenance of injury and disease records.
- Assisting employers and occupational safety personnel in implementing work-related disease prevention and improving the work environment.
- Identification and assessment of workplace environmental and operational hazards.
- Providing recommendations for improving occupational safety and health facilities.
- Investigating the relationship between workers’ health conditions and their tasks, conducting health risk assessments for high-risk workers, and implementing necessary preventive and health promotion measures.
- Providing functional evaluations and recommendations for job redesign or adjustment for returning workers.
- Other duties designated and announced by the central competent authority.
